Delight in the simplicity and charm of our Japanese Rice Ball! Incorporate brown onions with mushrooms in vegan oyster sauce and then add these ingredients to the center of a handful of rice before wrapping in a strip of nori.

Ingredients

1 sheet nori, cut into strips
1 rice cup sushi rice
1 rice cup water
1/4 tsp salt, or to taste
1/2 avocado
2 tbsp black sesame seeds
1/2 yellow/brown onion
1/4 cup dried mushrooms, soaked
1/4 tsp coarsely ground black pepper
1 tbsp vegan oyster sauce

Instructions
Step 1 Add 1 rice cup (180 ml) of rice, 1 rice cup of water and soak for 20 mins.
Step 2 Place into cooker and set to "Rice" mode.
Step 3 Cut nori into strips. Add 1/4 tsp salt into rice and remove from cooker.
Step 4 Set cooker to "Browning" mode and place 1/2 cut brown onion, 1 tsp oil, 1/4 cup dried mushroom, 1/4 tsp of ground black pepper, 1 tbsp of vegan oyster sauce.
Step 5 Grab a handful of cooked rice, add mushrooms from Step 4 into the center, cover with rice and shape into a ball.
VOILA! Lastly for the final touches, add 1 strip of Nori and coat with sesame seeds.
